Evil Zone was an interesting game for me. I hated the gameplay and knew it was shit even at a young age, but I kept renting it because it was so edgy and it was fun to play and think about plus the lore was cool to me at the time. I was in like 5th grade when this game came out and Dragon Ball Z was just starting to air on toonami along with all of the other Chinese cartoons and got me interested in more weird anime that my normalfag friends weren't privy to. Despite being a one button fighting game and people calling it trash, it was quite revolutionary for it's time.
It had cloth and hair physics, characters with their hair in a ponytail would have it flowing freely after they take a beating, pic related would have his helmet break and reveal his face.
It also had some cool stuff like "clashes", where if the two characters perform the same action like dash attack they would would trigger a cinematic button mashing segment alongside others.

You are going to hate it if you don't turn your brain off. It's the most basic you can make a fighter and arguably call it playable. The one interesting mechanic is your super meter is tied to your health bar, if you have super low health you can basically spam super moves. It's just one of many interesting surface level things about that game that would have allowed it to become a true classic if they ever got out a sequel with decent polish.

I spent 2 years playing Eretzvaju (the original game's title) on all weekends with friends. 2 whole years. And we ALWAYS played on Danzaiver's Stage, because of the song.

It's slightly worse, sadly. The biggest contributor for the first game didn't stay on that one, but at least the music/art creators did. The gameplay is mostly the same, but the hit detection is kinda fucky this time around and your sword can swing above enemies at times. The level design is not as good except for a couple of levels. Some enemies deal more damage than they should and they added fall damage for some reason. The humor is way worse. It's juvenile and missed the point on what the humor on the first game good. For example, Dan talks this time around.
Still, worth a shot if you liked the first game. This time around there's firearms and more variety.

Terracon is a PAL only release that came out late in the Playstation's life. It was going to be ported to America but due to the timing of its release the PS1 wasn't considered viable as a platform any longer. It's a very neat little game with great visuals. Give it a try if you're looking for something a little different on the system.
