Look at Hatred, there's nothing controversial to make controversial anymore, probably not even /pol/ stuff anymore, you can make a game about running people over as a cartoonish muslim, and it would still only offend one half of the political spectrum.

Controversial games come in two flavors, those that don’t take themselves seriously and those that do. SCMRPG is an example of one that doesn’t as is Postal 2.

For the more serious ones, you have games like ethnic cleansing or any of the ones made by Muslims. Like night of bush capturing, but even those lose seriousness quickly just for how stilted they are to play. Though I will applaud William Luther Pierce for recognizing the value of video games as a way to spread a message, and damn him for making this fact readily avalible to those on the polar opposite end of the political spectrum.

I think it would better show the nonsense of gun-free zones if there's areas where you can shoot people with the peace of mind that they won't be able to fight back. Shooting in areas with gun-owners would be hard-mode.
