Nearing the end of Road to Ruin, thoughts

>most characters have awful speed or I just got speed screwed a lot

>Lanora is fucking awesome, pretty much the only character to get near her caps

>virtually nobody has multiple weapon types only one of the units I used, Torie, does.

>the generic units are just a source of frustration as them dying kills your rank

Otherwise pretty good.

Any hacks you'd recommend that make a new campaign to beat using the original engine? Preferably not platformer.

Finished Road to Ruin. Lanora just smashed the final boss in one turn. Double attack with Luna, second turn with bard then another attack. Oddly enough she never came close to an S rank in dark magic, only getting A rank the penultimate chapter. Had 5 star ranking at the start of the last chapter.

Was nice, though some of the world ultimately felt like filler. The merchant kingdom and the warlords don't really have any impact on the story.
