spiderman 2 is the defacto example but pretty much it uses an anchorpoint that exists in the game world which directs how spiderman swings. It's not just shooting a web into nothing that spidey moves from, but actually connects with a building to allow for realistic and predictable swinging, creating a fully realized mechanic. Meaning you bob and weave with each swing, giving you a way to build momentum, launch yourself, gives you a challenge to movement so things like say, chasing green goblin on his craft isn't a matter of follow the dotted line but rather watch the arc of the swing, launch a new swing when necessary and catch up naturally. it essentially defines the feel of spiderman otherwise you might as well just be floating through the city.

There was some video on the atrocious separately developed PC version of Spider-Man 2 from some popular youtuber I forgot which and reading the comments I find it hilarious how shitty and prone to suggestion the memory of a normalfag is, as well as how little they bother to read or do research. The comment section was full of people being all like "wtf I had this on PS2 and I loved it as a kid did it really look that shit" ignoring even the video's own description and completely missing that fact that it wasn't a console port. Is that why all these "retro" games made by wannabe devs look like pixel vomit, because they all either forgot how old games actually looked like or don't bother researching it?
