Everybody's Golf for PS4 has some nice multiplayer where you can manually drive to the next hole with the other players, however you just missed a 50% off sale for it.

It's controls are simple enough that anyone can pick it up but your options aren't restricted because of it and the course designs are all put together so each playable character can excel despite the conditions or stat variations. They're designed to reward risky play greatly but not punishing the player for playing it safe. It's just an incredible beautiful and well polished package that anyone can enjoy from casual to the hardcore.

That depends on the game it all depends on the presentation. Neo Turf Masters and Mario Golf: Advance Tour have detailed greens which make it incredibly easy to judge the correct putt after getting familiar with the games.

Meanwhile you have games like Golf Story which didn't put any effort into putting to the point where it's more reliable to do chip ins over putts (What makes it worse is there is an in-game playable parody of NES golf games in golf story where it's easier to putt because they actually put detail into the greens)

That's a shame about Golf Story, getting to golf in snow sounds interesting. Although if I want my dick punched in by a golf game there's always Tiger Woods Golf: The Masters' DLC courses. (Gamestop for some reason still has digital codes for it, despite the game being delisted on PSN)

Golf Story had so many good ideas that made it unique but all that gets thrown into the gutter thanks to bad design choices and the most brain dead AI in any sports game. It's a damn shame.

The Golf Club 1/2 has winter courses, but you have to go digging for user created courses if you want deep snow. That and Links 2003 has a fuck load of user created winter courses but it's mostly just cosmetic and snow just gets treated as deep rough.

Albatross18 died when OGPlanet lost publishing rights and it went back to the shitty NA sect of nskeev. OGPlanet at least actually banned some of the cheaters and left accidental chargebacks and people who cussed alone.
