I launch the "FFXISETUP.exe" which does the Complete Seekers Edition thing, it unpacks a bunch of files, then it launches the InstallShield installer which then does nothing and sits minimized completely blank. I tried grabbing the standalone PlayOnline installer that the guide also links "if you use Windows 7

Era has a server-wide linkshell everyone is on where you can ask for stuff. Hell, I actually got a group of people to kill King Vinegarroon for me and they let me have the helmet. Limit break stuff is easy.

doing pretty good I think, no it's just me on pso2 now, bellena quit after they nerfed techers really hard a while back
warframe is actually better than ever right now, they made a big balance pass not too long ago and now all garbage wpns are a lot better (or at least not totally garbage anymore) so the emphasis on playing "meta" isn't so strong anymore
both games are getting huge content updates soon with pso2 getting the next story chapter and warframe getting a new story quest, a new warframe, and a new open world area (bit further off), so I think I am good hehe, pso2 satisfies my need for self-expression and warframe satisfies my need to GO FAST
I would stop in to play a bit more, because I do miss FFXI deeply, I think about it at some point literally every day, but I don't even have the game set up anymore so it would be a huge faff to even get logged in… besides, I think it's kinda better not to hold on to the past so much

WoTG is very, VERY bare bones in the FFXI mod community and emulator community (Dark Star Project). only the jobs work and nothing else pretty much.
ToAU was only coded in the official DSP emulator up to mission 13, Black Coffin, thats about 1/3rd of it i believe. Salvage still doesn't work at all, not in the official DSP emulator at least, but thats pretty much what everyone uses.
