In reality, the game was designed to pander to them, and they backtracked when they realized it was going to become a flop and it'd kill the Far Cry series.

It was a Wikia Fandom article on the new Soul Calibur and how Ivy's outfit is tone deaf to the social climate in 2018. Or at least that's what the title was.
