They tried implementing a way to destroy their recovery buckets. The idea was that over time they would get weaker because they needed to revert to liquid. The patch had the unintended consequence of making Changelings even more OP: you could just revert to a liquid anywhere; then your player body leaked through the floor geometry essentially give Changelings 'noclip'.

There's also the disease buff that turns them into fucking predators which buffs their attack to hell and basically means gg for anybody but Cardassians with their current buff.

Recovery buckets are just a crutch for noob Changelings or total autists anyway, there's a reason they usually all stick together on-server. Linking with another Changeling resets your liquid timer.
