Practically fucking vanished after like its release back in the day, i remember picking it up when i was smol from a game disk magazine. Pretty solid gameplay, baller ost and interesting yet kinda obvious from a mile away story and fairly cool multiplayer too bad it was dead and dry

Yeah, a little when i was still buying games. Back then i was shilled this by a friend. It was a good game, but like with every game i couldn't bring myself to complete it after few missions, especially when new vidya was released all around.

im seriously surprised this game isnt another hidden gem that anons obsess with alike eye divine cybermemecy or some other cyberpunk stuffs

Its not because its shaped like cheap GTA clone with robots.

48c7f2 No.14449668

I was looking into it but the gameplay looks pretty bland and repetitive. I would have given it a shot if there was more than one measly robot girl.

Yes, I remember the cutscene animation being vaguely unsettling when I did.

Here's how the game breaks down: Have you played Freelancer?

If yes, then you have played the better version of the game.

If no, then you should play Freelancer.

>good game, but like with every game i couldn't bring myself to complete it after few missions

May want to check your tackle box for something more convincing

2af9ff No.14451774

I remember playing it when I had a Gametap account. That place was sort of equal parts trash and equal parts decent stuff that just had zero marketing it seems. McGee did nothing wrong.

A bit of an addendum to the Gametap thing: I'm pretty sure they changed owners and it's probably shit now. I appreciated it for being a sort of PC game rental service, and it gave me some fire up my ass to complete video games again.

Well EYE is insane and once you managed to get into the groove of things you'll soon realize how nuts the whole thing is and Deus Ex has always been a cult classic even during it's release (note: it's always looked like dogshit). That's about the big 2 cyberpunk that I can think of, FEAR is just a by the numbers game during it's release but it's craftsmanship was done so well that Anons who grew up on the boring blander and worse modern FPS games always end up liking it a lot for a short period Condemned has a similar effect but those aren't Cyberpunk. The only other old ass Cyberpunk game i could think of that some Anons like is that ancient Terminator FPS that somebody dug up years ago.

Differences between that and EYE is that Scrapland has disgusting and offputting art style screaming of hipster trash. It might be good video game, but I aint touching that shit just because its art style looks terrible.

On the other hand EYE looks like less wacky WH40K, which is a good thing.

>multiplayer

Another thing, games that required a multiplayer key were usually screwed, so you were basically stuck with what amounted to a pirate copy of a game and really less options than a scurvy copy. Sorry for the blogshit but I just wanted to make it adequately clear what a fucky mess it was. Scrapland is just very on point for bringing up memories of that junkyard.

EYE is just a warhammer rip off.

Hooktube embed. Click on thumbnail to play.

This looks like a fun time. I'm gonna look for it now but might anybody have a lead on a download?

That's exactly what I said.

WH ripoffs is a good thing.

Hipster trash is a bad thing.

I think IGG has one, but I dunno if it's up to date and not filled with bitcoin mining software.

4bfdb9 No.14452180

>>14452156

For old ass games IGG wouldn't be the place I'd look first, places like isozone or myabandonware are the ways to go even if there is a good chance you'll find nothing.

6e2ccc No.14452188

>>14452156

Yeah I found it on theisozone but I have the same worries about that place. My gut tells me to trust it more than IGG at this point
