This is an attempt to revive those 1 week, one game threads, except I'm not that anon and my games are infinitely shittier are a short burst of fun to be done through over a weekend.

Here it is, Aarklash Legacy. A party based game where you control four party members(out of a possible 8 character) where each character has four skills(that can be upgraded and halfway through the upgrades you can upgrade to an alternate version) complete with cool downs and synergies and whatnot(Kind of like a singleplayer assfaggot where you control four characters a time, and the four characters are actually enjoyable to play as). You play a bunch of jews repo slaves who end up finding the the world has had enough of you and decided to fuck your guild up, so you make your way back to your guild's stronghold and eventually figure out what's going on. Spoilers: The story is generic and predictable, and moreover the loading screens spoil the biggest "twist" in the game. The real draw here is the gameplay. Like I've said you control four out of a possible eight characters, each of them have their own skills, passives and playstyles. The skills are more or less similar to skillshots in ASSFAGGOTs and more often than not require some thought due to friendly fire being a thing, and certain risk reward skills(For example your starting healer Who is some weird kangaroo chick with big tits has an unorthodox healing spell, they get a glaive throw that heals whatever the glaive hits, including enemies(can be changed so that it heals allies less but it deals damage to enemies, but the healer has no other instant heal spell so it's a tradeoff)). There's a mage who is a lich or a ghost or something who is mostly a nuker, but most of his damage comes from his seed ability which explodes and infects other enemies in a radius, but only if the enemy carrying the seed dies. Your dwarf sniper has an inverse move, you put a bomb on one of your party members and have them peacefully explode enemies for a shitton of damage and themselves for less damage. And so on. The bosses are a blast. They're mostly challenging puzzle bosses where you have to play around a lot with positioning and movement. For example one of the first bosses that I remember was some big asshole who after a while spawns a bunch of helpers who heal him using skill shots. You can either kill the helpers or get in the way of the skill shots to get your characters healed instead. I should also mention most of the bosses are giant monsters with giant breasts.
The game is by Cyanide, of Of Orcs And Men and Styx fame. You should take this as a sign that everything that isn't the gameplay or music(come to think of it this game had weaker music than most Cyanide games) is at best serviceable. It's a short game and there's a certain part where assets are reused, and outside of your two mages none of the characters are good lookers. It's short, but it's pretty sweet if you can get into it. Enjoy.
