Well, uh.
Yes.
It is indeed more polished, but it's not actually better and I speak from experience here.
For starters, it lacks most of the Gothic 1 and 2 like charm that first one had. Kinda clunky, very ambitious, tries its best with what it has but is very much imperfect.
TW2 is still jank, but it's polished jank. Which doesn't make it better, it just makes it more slippery like a marble floor. A lot like Gothic 3, really, if I were to continue with my analogy. It's not bad per se, it's not worse technically(quite the opposite) but it feels like ass in comparison.
