What's with these games that half-heartedly put in the whole steam merchant crap? I can get skins through packs, I *could* pay for exp or ingame money, not like I would, but there's no trading. The game is fun and all, but the entire monetary system is sub-F2P. It's just rare to see such a bullshit unlock system that isn't going for the trade autist crowd. Or, you know, when that button only appears under certain circumstances. And I'm trying to jump through a hole I just shotgunned through a wall, but since the bottom six inches of a stud is poking out of the floor I can't walk through it, but the vault button won't appear unless I'm standing exactly 90 degrees to the hole and facing directly at the stud. That's always fun in a game where the TTK is <1 second and positioning is extremely important.

Defenders got nerfed way more often than attackers did. You must have forgotten all of the spawn peeking shit they fixed and tried to clamp down on and the removal of acogs from most of the defenders. Ela brought a high cap fast firing gun which was accurate still along with the 3 speed which allowed her to roam. Roamers have always been strong when combined with static defenders. Hell I'd say acog bandit/jaegar were both far more annoying to deal with than Ela or Vigil have ever been and their gadgets didn't even help them when they roamed.

Nah, I'd put them around as bad as spawnpeaking by a Jager/Bandit. Compared to jager/bandit, its miles more frightening to fight an Ela or Vigil. Those guns just don't feel like defender guns. If they were on 1-2 speeds it be, ok. Every time I played Ela over the past 6 months, I literally ran around the entire duration of the timer. Just aggressively looking for attackers to spray down. I averaged around 2-3 kills from playing as carelessly as possibly.
High fire-rate SMG's in general are kinda iffy in a game where a single headshot kills you. But they are bad when they have more than 20 bullets in the mag. Smoke and Sledge barely work with their side arms since they have a cap of 17 bullets, enough to kill one person. Ela had 50 and preformed better than their sidearm lol.

When Buck was added people acted like "why couldn't we just get an M26 attachment? Tower is one of my favorite maps to play Jackal on though. I love killing roamers on that map who think they are hot shit. To be honest its one of my more favorite maps because people can't spawnpeek at all, which is probably why I hate Bank so much because 90% of the time you spawn Ally and a good 70% of the time you get someone who spawn rushes your team.

The same could be said about any weapon. The only way to balance that out is to make RoF near-constant for every automatic weapon in the game, which would make most weapons feel identical. As headshots occur less at short-range which the weapon (now) more excels at, and only Casual players really try to spray 'n pray, it's not that noticeable in practice. In theory, maybe, but it's not as if you can reliably tell that an enemy Ela managed to headshot you through sheer luck.

I'm still enjoying the game just as much. It seems like every time an update comes out people explode with rage for some reason. I don't think the changes that are being made have negatively impacted the game. I would prefer they revert the "ADS cancels active reloads" change in the latest patch though. It makes reloading far too safe.

It's not about not having a hard-breach, it's about circumventing the need for a Thatcher.
In the top floor bedroom you can either shoot the jammers/batteries from the rightmost window fairly easily, or blow out the space above the reinforcements and just toss a grenade in. (Or just throw it in through the dronehole.) There's also the option of using Fuze for this. He's underutilised as a method of removing gadgets from a site. He doesn't have to get kills to be worthwhile.
For cashroom/cctv (God knows why you'd pick this site) you can shoot them from the window, or deal with the ones in CCTV from the hatch.
Any of these methods allow for subsequent opening of hard walls by Thermite (Preferred) or Hibana. Issues regarding ADSs stopping grenades can be circumvented by either burning a Hibana charge, or tossing some flashes in first.

There's a couple things about the new automated chat shoahing system that people on reddit are ignoring:
1: It's really not nice to feel like you're walking on eggshells, even if you don't drop nigger every once in a while. People are very quick to drop reports, after all, given how beta most people who freak out about calling them gay are in games.
2: Banning people from games has actually became a monetization scheme, given people will most likely come back. Look at how fast League of Legends bans people, and how they know they'll come back and rebuy shit or buy another account or whatever. If people like the game, and they're as dumb as the usual consumer is, they'll repurchase it after the growing more strict rules nail them.
3: A good chunk of people who say a mean word online to you aren't actually some kind of person that strings up anyone that is of a different skin color. A good chunk of people say the word, whether its cathartic or to put emphasis on whatever the situation is.
