It’s a great premise ruined by spic coders on a shitty engine. It will never be duplicated by anyone else because “this is already good enough.” It will also never be fixed or improved because they got their money already and they’ve run with it.

I miss the days when I cared about it. I miss the days when it was worth caring about. No joke, I was going to play some last night for the first time in over a year. It froze while loading because it can’t handle more than 20 mods (or is just so incompetently coded that it hit a filesize limit and broke). Oh well.

Also, what new expansion? None of their official pages say anything.

lies, I ran it on linux, and the only limiting factor to mods are literally the size of your RAM (for 64x)

yeah i think i have a construction mod, honestly it gets hard to remember all the mods i have. the most fun part of base/space-station construction is cannibalizing old craft to add to new bases.

I want to get back to the game, but when I remember all the effort and time that goes solely on the preparation and choosing of mods, it already tires the hell out of me
