Yeah, AA died kinda fast, then AA2 was around for some time. 2 was considers passable, and it has a lot of features that never made it to 3.
3 was a mess from the start, but it worked and kept the core gameplay functioning.
Proving grounds broke with most traditions. The game is not 100% bug free, but it is far better than the last few iterations, yet it's gameplay is twitch shooter bullshit.
