There was a bug where even if you found out the location of the Island, she'd still fucking go and fucking kill herself, locking you out of that spirit realm shit in the last act. It was fixed in a later patch.
Stupidity aside, are there any mods that fix the combat? By the time you're halfway through act 2, the number inflation on gear/damage/health gets so bad that you need to constantly be shopping for gear to keep up. If you don't shop for gear, you fall behind badly and just end up getting CCd to death; if you do shop for gear regularly it trivializes the game since you 1 round enemies on tactician.

I never played the first one, actually. But yeah, Divinity is pretty good. It's not a perfect game by any means but it's overall solid. The combat AI feels very smart until you learn how to cheese it, too - which you probably won't figure out until the very, very end.
