There are only 6 servants so far have used that and 5 of them are Arturia. It's an Arturia problem rather then a crutch used in the overall design. It can however actually be done well with EMIYA alter being a mind broken mess. From interviews it comes off that Takeuchi doesn't only know how to draw Saberface, he just legitimately loves drawing Saber so much he does it even in his free time obsessively. He did the designs for Romani, Solomon, and the protags of Grand Order so it's not like he's completely given up. Completely understandable, it does worry me quite a bit as well but it really comes down to how well Nasu can pull it off. Technically it's been involved since Stay Night due to how he structured the three major arcs though it's never mentioned in dialogue that paths are diverging so it might be a moot point. Fate/Extella is the first example of alternate realities being brought as a plot point but he then immediately described a trimming system that removed anything too different from the main one as the Moon Cell selectively trimmed realities with low chances of continuing the survival of mankind. He does seem to be taking it a different direction with the Lost Belts though.

I disagree, 2% is still substantial and with a support that has it lb every bit adds up. I'm currently at 4/5 copies and have been equipping them alongside a support and with the daily still getting 1.5k consistently. Having more copies definitely helps and having it LB is the most ideal, but having it period is still better than say Law of the Jungle and definitely better than having nothing at all.

During the event you will be given a choice for which one you prefer, and are locked to get that one for the event. Saber Shiki is pretty resilient, and her ability to convert NP to HP makes her pretty good to survive longer battles, on the rare occasions they come up. She also works well with the Arts Meme. However, she is definitely not a good 5* by any means. The only real selling point she has is that AoE insta-kill works very well for farming hands.
Assassin Shiki is great because you get her at NP5. You aren't going to do much better than her when it comes to getting single-target damage on Riders. She can self-charge her NP at the cost of HP, and has a self-targeted Arts buff on an Arts NP, plus an Arts based kit which lets her charge NP extremely fast. She'll never crit as well as, say, Jack. But she's very good as part of a farming team for a lot of events with a Fafnir boss, since she can usually take one down in one round. Her ability to spam NP also makes her good for slicing through Wyverns, which are actually susceptible to her insta-kill.
If you only got Assassin Shiki at NP1 she'd not be that great, but as a welfare, she's great to have.

I had a heated argument about this with a friend, but the idea of a Saber-face is kinda stupid. You can't count alternate versions, as they are literally the same person, like Saber and Saber Alter, and if you compare their original art, every "Saber-face" servant looks fairly different.
We've got Nero, who has different facial structure, and hair, as well as bigger titties just for a basic overview. Jeanne, who was stated in Zero to resemble Arturia, but is shown in other media and her original design to be fairly distinct. Sakura Saber was made as a joke to riff on the idea of their being multiple characters known by the moniker "saber", just as Jeanne Alter Lily was made to parody the idea of multiple overlapping forms designed for fan service. Aside from that, we have Mordred, who is essentially a clone of Arturia and thus has resemblance, but has a completely different style of dress and expression.
So that gives us 5 base Sabers, 3 of which are intentionally similar for plot reasons, one of which was created as a joke, and another who is lumped in because of the colour of her hair. Honestly, complain about everything being Alter this, Alter that. Lancelot didn't need to be Alter in order to be a beserker, he was just fucking pissed.

It's literally a palette swapped Saber with boobs to match Artoria's size and not Nero's size. Here is the most direct comparison shot I could find: You can see the difference in their brows, with Neros being thinner and higher, as well as Nero having sharper eyes, and a slightly more defined cheekbone.
I totally agree that the characters themselves have run rampant with all their incarnations, and we should not have what, 12 different Arturias. It's a drop in the bucket in terms of total servant count, but they crowd out almost everyone in the higher ranks.

Assuming you started the event with a full AP gauge you could bring in 134, because the servers are usually back up at 7:00 server time there has only been roughly 710~ AP gained until this moment. 6 golden apples and an AP gauge of 134 is 804. You would have a total of 1646 AP to work with, but, you're telling me you also killed 20 Rapunzel's in the Parking lot which is an additional 400 AP over that minimum 1600, and this is all assuming your farming and mission choice was absolutely perfect so you didn't need to do more then 10 missions a floor.

When you get a team together get an idea of what everyone's cards are. Everyone has five cards in their deck (Emiya has QAAAB and Tamamo Cat has QABBB if I recall correctly). Getting a quick, arts, or buster chain is really helpful depending on what you plan to have the team perform. At the moment everyone is just depending on class advantage or just smashing everything to death with a Berserker but if you're low on high stat servants/available deployment points a smaller or lower rank team of servants that meshes together works wonders. I remember winning a fight against Tamamo in Halloween with just George and Hans left because I just kept getting arts chains and letting George tank everything while Hans just kept spamming his NP to regen everyone.

You'll probably have to use some quartz in some tougher battles or to get more AP refills if you want to fully power up the event welfare servant. It'll be kind of tricky but some good supports should get you at least half of the way through even if it will be inefficient. There's a bunch of four star experience cards in the shop which can help level up your servants a bit. If there's a fight that giving you a really hard time you can try setting up my Herakles in the last spot and try having him as a last man standing and there's very few enemies at this point that can survive getting hit in the face for 70k+ damage every turn for 5-7 turns. Watch out for any fight with Jack the ripper though, bad luck there may just screw you over in that case.
Shielder's level limit goes up by advancing the story so no materials are needed. Rulers typically just need the other seven class pieces and monuments so just doing some of the current event missions or daily quests would be enough to ascend them.

While incredibly difficult you could definitely get at least one copy of her as that only requires getting to room 504. To max ascend her is a completely different story as if you don't get all the materials you will not be able to get her fully ascended until the rerun two years from now. The best part of event servants are that they are 4 stars and that they are easy to fully ascend and get to NP5. I don't think you could get her to NP5, but you may be able to get her fully ascended in 10 days with the golden apples the event gives you, as well as really strong support servants.

Mashu is the only Shielder, she ascends automatically with the story, as for her skills she will just want 5 of x material. Ruler is case by case but they usually want just materials from every class. Soon there will be Avengers who just want a shit ton of random materials, same for Alter-Ego, Foreigner and Moon Cancer classes.

It's much, much worse in Valkyrie Connect (the dialogue is full of cringe, as one character is made into a pure tumblr-sjw bitch. Memes are all over the place, and there is some sjw shit in the game. It doesn't help knowing most of the VC players are sjws who suck at the game). The arrow to the shin joke wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be because I know Valkyrie would just spam "ARROW TO TEH KNEE LULZ" if the sjw translator could do so (the VC translators are cunts, who whined how sexy characters triggered them. I wish I was kidding).
I know I probably won't get her maxed or anything, but I wouldn't mind keeping her. I'm using other servants like Benkei and Sabre D'Chev (the French Sabre that's a fencer). The guy who maxed Spartacus makes me want to max Caligula (I just got him from a free pull, and he doesn't seem too bad for a free servant). I'm hoping I can get some Berserker ascensions.

You should really consider getting at least one copy of Shiki plus all her ascension materials (the knives) from this event, because every easily-obtainable assassin before the Camelot Singularity or so is trash, with the exception of Cursed Arm Hassan. REGEND Kojiro is good when you're starting, but he'll fall off in the future unless you pour some grails and effort unto him. You'll need good assassins for farming, and Shiki is one of the best, and free to boot.
The event isn't hard, but the last couple of floors are very tough, even with high level supports. Complete quests within nodes that you can reliably clear and abuse supports.

For this one in particular? Yes, the Japanese actual just got their announcement for the reun of this event event. It does vary though, for events based on holidays, say, Halloween, they rerun they event the next year but "lite" so you have much less time to get it done, and then do the actual new Halloween event for the year. I'm assuming after one rerun you'll never see the event ever again though because we can't have 4 Halloween events every year for example. You have Nerofest which is basically the developer's favorite event for throwing bullshit challenges at you, and it gets redone every year completely new.
For anything falling outside these two groups, the standard is 2 years later you may get a rerun, this event included, and it may be a "lite" version or a full rerun.

Completely wiped out my QP reserves with all the upgrades I did, got less than 200K right now. Managed to get the wife's third skill to level 10, all that's left is Intuition and getting her to NP5. Also got Lily to Bond lv 10, trying to decide on either Shiki or Leonidas to replace her on my main team. Herc's set for BL 10 next, that'll be very useful.
Hope I can find some good stuff with Mordred at the anime convention I'm going to next month. Might feed chicken to some birds like I did at one last year.

Alright then. This was actually something I'd been predicting for a while, given how much sjweebs love to try and force things to fit their narrow worldview. (Even today they are still insisting Astolfo must be trans.) And in recent years several translation groups have revealed themselves as also being part of or at least willing to pander to this cancer. (Treehouse, Funimation, NISA, etc.) So the London singularity is released and I'm worried the translators for this game tried to turn Mo-san into a tranny, while also being worried that I only had 150 quartz and my friend pulled her with 6. To my joy, I manage to summon her on the very last roll possible and after getting her to lv 100 immediately start grinding out her Bond lv. Profile entries unlock and I notice they're calling her 'he' where the original text used variants of 'Kanojo', meaning she or girlfriend depending on context. I'm either an optimistic or retarded person, you pick, so despite the numerous times so-called 'localizers' have done malicious editing within even the last year, so I assume the translators meant for this to refer to Mordred in the 'historical' context and move on, even after seeing every entry except the one with height/weight/alignment/etc calls her a man. (pic 2)
So now I start the actual story of London, and sure enough, everyone's calling her a man when she's introduced, but Bromani corrects himself and starts using female pronouns after noticing it's yet another historical Rule 63 situation. For the rest of the chapter, everyone, and I do mean everyone, refers to Mordred as female and she doesn't once get angry about it, even when the person in question is the actual god damn final boss. She does get angry about it precisely ONE time, and that's when Jekyl implies the reason she and Mash can understand Fran is because they're all girls. But, they ALL get mad at that. The actual reason is because they're all artifically made humans. Mo-san and best kouhai are hommunculi, Fran is, well, Frankenstein's Monster.
So I think to myself "Alright, guess the other stuff was just an oversight on the translator's part." I write in to support to tell them this. My first response is in pic 3. Cool, they agree it's a mistake, glad they're doing their jobs. (btw, compare pic 4 to her in-game profile.) So a few weeks pass and I decide to see it there's an estimate of when it'll be fixed. It's just a few text tweaks, shouldn't take too long, right? I get a response at like one in the morning (So I kinda feel sorry for whoever had to read my bullshit) saying they are unsure of what I'm referring to and need screenshots of the issue.

Even when only using one Shiki, it failed on me once out of 20 times, and I had forgotten to use Mystic Eyes of Death Perception because I was running on autopilot at that point. That was the most surprising part of the parking lot grind, that it could actually fail against Rapunzel.
I'd thought Shiki's NP would be sort of useless because of all the death-resistant bosses out there, but it's great against sub-bosses like demons and chimera so far. Haven't fought a dragon with her so no idea if it's good against them.

Most of the time it's a servant by servant basis, however, in general you give your Berserker's something like Kaleidoscope or Imaginary Number to help them get their NP off, but Caligula's NP doesn't actually deal damage so he really isn't in a rush to use it. He has major survival issues and because he's low level some CE that would give him a guts effect, or maybe a Buster up. As per Assassin's, if it's an Art focused one like Shiki you want something boosting her kit, say, Formal Magecraft, and if they're a quick Assassin well, I suppose the best you could do is slap a Shards of 2030 or Imaginary Around if you want them to produce stars consistently
