I bought TESO Morrowind because I was desperate for a new MMO and it was very cheap on Amazon and it's actually decent.
It's very far for being the original Morrowind but I don't really care, as a basic MMO it works pretty well.

Played it during the first Beta round and did not bother to sign up for the second. Felt like a budget Skyrim clone (which says something in itself) with MMO parts slapped on.
To be honest, I was mildly surprised when I learned this shit was still around for the Morrowind and Sotha Sil xpacs around.

I would never have payed a subscription for it, but in its current B2P state it's honestly worth it in my opinion. There is obviously a lot of shitty stuff in it with the (((crown store))), but if you're not stupid there is literally no reason to pay for anything in-game.
Also, I don't know about add-ons in the beta, but I guess they weren't any, some add-ons really help the game "shine", like the other TES games it's these kind of things who should have been in the game from the beginning though.

It has awful lag between getting an impact on the target. You don't really feel the hit like in obliviln/skyrim. And movement even more swooshy than in those games.

From what I've heard one player gets nominated emperor depending on the control over cyrodil of his alliance plus the merits he had in the war, and he gets a unique skill tree with massive boosts that help him and his alliance keep him alive.

Technically you could get a tank/sorcerer build and use SnS to get you that extra survivability.
The late game content revolves around you using two different skill bars with each having it's own weapon so you could wear an ice or restoration staff in the other bar and switchback and forth between healing and tanking.
You won't be the best tank, the best healer or the best DPS out there but you will damn sure survive a lot!
