You know how running games in a lower-than-native resolution in fullscreen upscales the image to the monitor?

Go into the settings for whatever display driver you have, and there should be an option like the one in the image. Of course, your display driver SHOULDN'T be intel integrated graphics but if you're a poor piece of shit, you won't be able to help that.

The result is a little isolated image in the center of your screen. This isn't actually "fullscreen" in any sense of the word, but it's at least better than windowed mode because for the most part you shouldn't be doing other shit while you play games anyway.

This setting's very good for visual novels and fighting games where you shouldn't want to rescale the image.

Turn off mouse acceleration in windows settings, it will help you massively in every game especially FPS

I wish there was a way to just scale games by the highest multiple possible while keeping a black border around it. Good emulators have that option, but for older games it's either tiny window mode or blurry fullscreen mode.

Disable display scaling, set your desired resolution as the desktop resolution (create a custom resolution if you have to), use a borderless full screen mod/injector for the game.

My suggestion:

Tape your mouse cord to your case or monitor to act as a makeshift mouse bungee so the cord doesn't affect your mouse movements.
