It seems that my Ash build from the last thread caused quite the stir, so I came back with improved and battle-tested version of it!
Beholde, the guns are for pussies Ash build 2.0
Or rather general no guns allowed build that can work on most frames with decent health and armor bases.
The idea behind this build is to make most of frame's stats and abilities while staying alive and not using primaries and secondaries period in the T4 void survival a.k.a one the very few remotely hard mission in the entire fucking game.
As you can see its performance not half bad. Even quick thinking wasn't as necessary as I expected it to be, but it saved me a couple of times allowing that sick combo counter going. Handspring on the other hand(spring) is essential as it saves you from Ancients' grabs and heavies' knockdowns.
By 65 minutes I still could kill enemies fast enough to keep 3-4 lf capsules up, but decided to bail because my wyrm died, and little guy did most of crowdcontrol for me. I should get him regen prime sometime. Biggest problem with T4 void are one shotting mobs spawning all over the place, and the only way to deal with them without guns or aoe abilities is sentinel.
So yeah share you thoughts, inputs, improvements and butthurt about this build and see if it's any better on actual melee tank frames like Nidus, Inaros or Atlas.

I wear them because mission result looks nice with 6 boxes. From those focus numbers you should have guessed that I never killed mob with gun ones, and those are just bonuses from sentinel killing early lights.

As for real arguments, you're using an ash and nami skyla, which is just poor choice in weapons and frame. You already mentioned three frames that actually would do the whole having high health and armor way better, and something like S&A prime would be bettter for the higher DR when blocking. I'm positive the only reason you're able to do anything with those is because of that riven.
Because with ash's tin-foil default armor you're just wasting mod space. And since you're charging into guns anyways, Chroma would be a better choice since you're relying on not-rage for energy anyways.
Also your map position bugs me: tell me you didn't just camp a room close to the start or something like that.

Nami Skyla is a comprimise to begin with. Initially I tried to make it work with Dex Dakra, but had to settle for the better weapon in the same category.

Chroma is ugly. UGLY.
And while I tried sacrificing small armor mod for more duration, as I said it doesn't go with my play stile. And +45% armor is still roughly 200 EHP, which isn't bad in the grand scheme of things.
With vigor prime it would be even better.

I took that screenshot while running towards extraction.
I just hanged in one room with all capsules, and moved to the next when those run out. I don't camp tube or something, since it doesn't mash with my meme build.
So yeah, the point is not to bring the best frame suited for the mission or my play style, but to make Ash as suited for as it can be.

Some of them, if you can find a buyer. Warframe.market puts Loki Essence is in the 100+ range, Excal Pendragon in the 300+ range and Rhino Vanguard in the 400+ range. Finally got to make my first Prime warframe, and it's Mirage. I was hoping for Valkyr Prime, but I'd been having terrible luck with getting her parts to drop.
This is what I've cobbled together for mods. It's probably not a great build, but I'm still not entirely sure what I'm doing with her aside from using Hall of Mirrors and Eclipse to turn the Arca Plasmor into a hallway clearing death cannon. If it can actually hold up against sortie enemies I'd love that. The Arca Plasmor is so fucking fun.

yes. you can run 3 dual elements on it since it has native radiation, meaning you can slot blast+corrosive as well, allowing you to shred pretty much anything. all you need for this is a potato and the right elemental mods. primed point blank helps too, but isn't necessary.

As a heads up you can run negative efficiency on her pretty well if you run duration and strength. Once they get turned on they should last almost a minute long each more than enough time to get energy again.
If you don't have corrupted mods yet get yourself into a derelict vault run, you can buy the keys from your dojo.
You can get some pretty useful mods from there.

I think it's just that furries have much wider appeal, since its a very vague thing, whereas warframes are specifically a thing from a single game, and as far as fetishes go that's pretty niche. If you'd ask your everyday dude they'd think both are weird, but if you go down to even reddit-tier, anthropomorphic characters aren't seen as super weird. So I suppose they're not more "degenerate", but they're definitely not as "vanilla". There's more furries than people who like warframes, and there's also a ton of overlap, so you're more likely to see a warframe guy who's also a furry than a furry who's also into warframe.

If you are killing with a frame ability 100% of the affinity goes into the frame since focus is just a % of affinity gained it works in the same way to.
If you kill with a weapon it's 25% Warframe and 75% Weapon if an ally kills it all gets split evenly. Basically what >>14100180 said.
The ideal focus farm is Equinox Sleep build with a High damage melee so you can get the 500% bonus exp off unaltered enemies constantly in an exterminate.
If you don't feel like doing that since it can be fast although boring, put it in a war-frame you use that does most of the killing.

If you were to use the Equinox farm yes you would but ideally you'd want it on both. Since that's quite a bit of focus you'd be missing out on every time.
Equinox in night form her second ability causes enemies in an area to fall asleep. So you kind of just spam the hell out of it in a room untill everyone is asleep then kill everything before they can wake up. Ideally with a focus orb on and eximus around.
Stealth Kills just means kills on enemies who are unalerted as you want the chain to keep going as long as possible so you make nobody see you as you cleave rooms apart. Every kill on an unalerted enemy gives you a buff that gives 100% bonus exp on the next kill and 200% if you kill yet another unalerted enemy up to 500% if you chain them back to back keeping 500% bonus exp for the entire mission.

While the second one has better melee damage, it will kill half of the time you have using drifting contact, considering that you will get most of this weapon on a critical combo build with berserker and blood rush with that sweet 2.5 multiplier and 35% crit chance at base, outside the fact that finishers are slow as fuck to kill anything. What are some good (by which I mean survivable for deepwave and capable of sustained damage output appropriate for deepwave) Frame + Secondary combos for Hieracon?
I used to focusfarm/level new weapons in sets of 2 on old draco (Saryn+Ignis for secondary & melee, Old Ash4+melee for primary & secondary), since that changed, I've been mainly doing that on Hieracon.
I have a handful of simple cheese builds to consistently go 32+ rounds, although I almost ALWAYS pub so those end between 16-24 and I end as damage/kills chart topper in like 80-90% of pubs since there are a lot of newer players and shitters.
My go-to builds for primary+frame (level secondary/melee) are saryn/ignis(OR sometimes Arca Plasmor for a bit more fun)/low eff/max str/max range spores for laying down ridiculous sustained AoE dps over a massive area, or AvalanchFrost/V.Hek for AoE burst damage, CC, and self-heal.
For melee+frame I go either Nidus/Atterax or Inaros/Atterax which should both be pretty self-explanatory well-scaling survivable rage/lifestrike and damage from berserker/blood rush/steel charge and coptering around.
The problem with secondary+frame is that I usually end up doing something like Nidus + V.Marelock (for added survivablity/damage output/cc from proc, also my favorite pistol in general), but mainly relying on Nidus skills. Marelock just doesn't have the kind of AoE effectiveness as atterax slides with primed reach, or Ignis/Plasmor spore detonation or Avalanche (or the CC that comes along with Avalanche). I'll admit though, punchthrough viral V.Marelock synergizes AMAZINGLY with Nidus 2, but one thing I've noticed is that my 'damage/kill' percentage with this basically NEVER tops the chart until about 20 or so waves at which point the random AoE weapons and Embers and other crap my pub teammates have stop instakilling things and then my mutation stacks start scaling geometrically and magdumping a 2'd bundle of enemies triggers syndicate proc and 4 is already down so they all explode because of the maggots etc…
I'd do Mesa since she's pretty secondary-oriented, but the problem I have with her is she isn't very survivable, and even if I wanted to use her with a good survivability secondary (like V.Marelock) Mine's forma'd for a different build than I can effectively field on my AklexP, Twin Grakatas, or Pandero; which are the three secondaries I can *really* mod optimally for her 4. And even if I wanted to get a SECOND marelock to modd different, or alter my standard marelock setup by slapping a few more forma on; You just don't build the marlock in the same way as the Aklex, T.Grakatas or Pandero. It'll suffer as a 'general use' weapon to work better as a peacemaker stick, and you can't proc the syndicate heal/aoe while IN peacemaker mode anyways, so it doesn't really help that much as passive survivability anyways. I mean I like my Mesa, and I use her with any of the good weapons for her in coordinated squads with a trin or something if we're going endless, but whenever I do pub farming, I generally assume that everyone else is going to be a shitter so I need to rely on myself 100% for survivability
TLDR: What's a good secondary+frame survivable and scalable damage output frame/pistol combo for Hieracon? I pub a LOT and need to basically assume the rest of my party will be shitters and/or retards so I need to be able to survive and kill everything (and no, I don't wanna do solo, xp loss in too great) myself.

Everyone keeps what they have when a thing is vaulted: fully built items, parts, blueprints & relics. You can still build them if you accumulate all the parts. All that happens is that new relics with those parts/bps no longer drop. So you could still get yourself Frost P. systems by trading for it from someone else. Eventually the vaulted stuff gets unvaulted for a limited time, giving another opportunity to get it. This month Frost, Ember and Loki get unvaulted so you will get your shot at the systems at some point soon.

Radiation+Cold works well since all the enemies have alloy armor and that is their main source of resiliency. That is also why magnetic is so useless there.

DE has made a mess out of the elemental damage in general by literally setting up tiers, Corrosive + Cold and Slash are the most reliable combination, corrosive strips armor away, cold damages hard armor and also affects shields, slash is like toxin when it comes to ignoring shields.

So I've got almost all the damn swords taking up my weapon slots and need to clear house. I want to keep the prisma skana and broken war because they're pretty neat looking, but is there any reason to keep the Jaw Sword, Pangolin Sword, Plasma Sword, or Cronus? In addition, I also have the Vectis Prime, is there any reason to keep the Snipetron? I've maxed the rank on all these weapons, so I'm wondering if I should just vendor trash em, save them for crafting into something else, or if there are some kind of meta gimmicks for these particular weapons due to bugs or mods I don't know about

Rivens usually come from sorties. Jaw, Pangolin, and Plasma swords are all pretty garbage, dunno about the Cronus. Keep the Snipetron, if only because it cannot be acquired anymore, save for the Vandal version.

Jaw sword has it's syndicate augments, but it is power creeped by every single weapon in existance. Pangolin is entry level MR fodder. Plasma sword i don't even remember this shit, cronus entry level weapon, upgrade to the skana, heat sword is better than cronus just because of it's ground slam heat.
Keep vectis prime for sniper only sortie condition, snipetron as usual is unobtainable as of now will have to wait to see if DE puts it into market one day.
Make sure to get one of each kind of primary weapon, like sniper, bow, rifle, shotgun and i think that is all, just because of the sortie condition "only this kind of weapon".
And rivens you are going to get more plat selling the veiled one than trying to rng your way through the bullshit that is rivens, outside shotgun rivens which have a good chance of being good shit, 7 are pretty good gets against 5 from the shotgun class that are not so much.

Cronus can't hit groups, so is pretty bad in that regard, selling veiled rivens is hit or miss, some people will want to pay less only for the type of challenge some of them have, the trade chat seems flooded with unveiled ones and only a handful of buyers who want very specific unveiled, mostly for stuff with low riven disp.
On a side note, how is this Tenora? I don't have "staple rare" mods like Argon scope and the like, this thing was able to keep me alive in a sortie with eximus spam, BUT for some reason they weren't prone to attacking my radio tower compared to the others.

Slash is the best, but puncture gets bonus damage to armor. So something not status based is gonna deal more damage. Same reason why most crit weapons run with radiation damage even if they don't get the proc.
