doom is p good and quake as well. i guess thief the dark project too but there isn't really a perfect thief game, best to just enjoy it on a level by level basis instead of as a whole game

Earlier this year I found 'Ultimate Quake' mixed in with the CDs at a Thrift Store. I had a blast playing through Quake 2 for the first time.

I'm a Quake 1 fag and I honestly hate Quake 2's SP, but I have friends who swear by it. I'm glad you had fun Anon. Also Q2's MP is a thinking man's game.
