What is the best version of NFL Blitz? I've only played 2000 on N64. I played the new Madden at a friends house and I need to get the taste out of my mouth. Other sports are welcome but please don't fill the thread up with manager sim games.

SSX games are good.

Those Mario tennis and soccer games were also fun.

I don't really like realistic sports sims tbh. They're all forgettable trash imo.

Except maybe NBA 2K11, and only for the Michael Jordan mode.

Realistic sports games are just boring. But XTREME sports like NFL Blitz and SSX are fun to play. Blitz: The League is actually more fun than I expected it to be, even if it's less 'over the top'. If you're a fan of 2000, I recommend that one. SSX Tricky is objectively the best SSX, but i have soft spot for 3. Also these 2 games are good, too bad no one ever gives them credit. Do NOT play past NBA Street 2 though, it goes to shit after that.

Weird, I've been on a Blitz craze lately. Funny you mention it. That being said, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1-3, NFL Blitz, and NBA Street volume 2.

Says you. What's boring is the average FIFAddict normalfag who goes online buying sportsball points. Play a high level PES pre 15 match with players who know what they're doing and with tactics and formations set up from the base team and you'll see what realistic simulation sportsball actually looks like.

But yeah xtreme versions of sports are the fucking best.

These are both pretty good, hard to say which is better. I guess it depends what you're more into. MLH moves faster if that isn't obvious. Also that Mutant Football League isn't bad, pretty close to the original with ref bribery and other silly shit.
