I doubt I'll ever manage to track down a copy of this or find mine but I'll ask in case someone else knows of it. My dad got a demo disk in the early 2000s that had something like 1000 shareware demos of old games on it, I remember it having one of the Spiderweb software games, along with lots of platformers and adventure games. I've wanted to dig through it again to find the names of some of the games I played and for nostalgia's sake but it seems I've lost it forever. It had a full size DVD case that was red and black with a big yellow or green space invader on the front. On the off chance you have this lying around or know it's actual name could you share the info or even better an .iso? Finding this would make my month.
It's even less likely I'll find this but I remember playing a Diabloish sci-fi game on a magazine demo disk. It had weapons like lightstaffs and the player started in a fortified base, once you left it there were aliens around the place and containers you could loot, if you returned to the base with aliens in pursuit there was an airlock that would release a gas that killed them. I'm more concerned with finding out about the compilation disk but was always curious as to whether this game was released.
