I think its an attempt at a viable draw two, although it might be overkill.

They printed something similar with Welcome Draw and Another Draw, with the latter just being Welcome Draw but with no cost and an encore effect.

it sounds like a sound theory although i would run Ancient Wave over Fafnir.

Any idea of what could be this? By the design it reminds me the bottom art of the cards in the TCG which activate effects when they are destroyed as life cloth but in tridimensional shape.

 No.42752

Life Burst Life Burst (ライフバースト Raifu Bāsuto) is an ability type found on SIGNI and spells, located under the rest of their abilities. A card's Life Burst ability is triggered whenever it is crushed as a Life Cloth and sent to the Check Zone. After the Life Burst ability is used, the card is sent to the Ener Zone. Life Burst abilities can be used regardless of the card's limiting condition.

Using a Life Burst ability is optional.

During deck construction, a deck must have exactly 20 Life Burst cards: no more, and no less.

Is it just me or is the powercreep in the key format very real?

The LRIGs and ARTS with new functionality in particular seem insanely good compared to the previous ones. There are ARTS which are effectively just better versions (Tornado Salvage compared to Grave Out) with very minor differences in functionality but I assume this is more a case of them trying to make those cards playable.

 No.42880

>>42879

>Is it just me or is the powercreep in the key format very real?

Seems so, although most of the cards power creeped weren't exactly used in the first place.

The zero cost level 4's might be ridiculous however, I can see all star piruluk apex/Guzuko being tier 1.

Probably never gonna get to L5 ever again tbh. Not that doing so is particularly useful anyway. Maybe they'll add some L5 SIGNI to make trying to get there worthwhile but with the L4 LRIG's coin abilities seeming to be meant to end games I don't see this happening.

I just thought of something could the keys in the pre-constructed decks reflect conflated.

>Hanayo key with Mido

Hitoe might end up stealing Yuzuki's LRIG for some reason.

>Aya key with Guzuko

We don't even know the status of these two, although Guzuko makes suspicious face in the OP. Maybe she ends up betraying carnival or something and by extension manages to take Aya.

>Nanashi key with Carnival

Satomi takes Nanashi from Hana.

>Mel key with Ril

I have a weird feeling this is a case of Mel being Suzuko's LRIG form, otherwise its another case of taking Chii-chan's LRIG.

>Yuzuki key with Tama

??? I can't really see a case for this one, maybe Ruu doesn't even use a key in the series and this is a card game only key, although there does seem to be characters being switched into LRIGs in conflated based off of Aya/Guzuko and maybe Remember.

Do you think they'll reprint any of the previous L5s with buffed / modified abilities? It'd be a real shame to lose Nihilisms spell / ARTS or Spinners L5 SIGNI (although this one isn't in any way as useful) delimiting effects especially with more targets becoming available to them. The only problem with them is, as said before, that they really don't stand up to even the new L4 LRIGs.

 No.42891

I honestly don't know.

Nihilism and the spinner never really got any support in the first place.

Kinda surprising that nihilism actually wins as many tournaments as it does considering it only really has one ability and the other is more to undo the damage caused by the grow condition.

Maybe if muticolor decks get mroe (actually useful, not just "this SIGNI gets +3000 if you have a SIGNI with a differnt color") synergy it will be worth running.

Any idea what "use TTA mode" actually does / stands for? The only reference I found for it was that it produces higher quality images but runs slower. Also in app settings there are two options for processor one that supposedly uses cuDNN and one that seems to run on the cpu. Because the CUDA option is (a lot) faster I assume it also causes it to run on the gpu even though it seems that it dosn't have the other componant. Am I misunderstanding something here?

Sorry for offtopic.

I somehow doubt that TTA has to do with compression directly due to it's function but then I don't really know.

The reason CUDA is being used seems to have something to do with the neural network behind it, maybe? The other part that the application can run with seems to be something directly related to this and comes from nvidia's own website so it might be a requirement for it to run with that. Unless OpenCL replaces all of it's functionality and remains compatible.

I looked it up and TTA is audio compression and not image compression. Sorry about that.

>The reason CUDA is being used seems to have something to do with the neural network behind it, maybe?

It could be down to developer preference. CUDA is generally faster than OpenCL because OpenCL is more difficult to program. The advantage of OpenCL is that it's cross platform and is supported by more hardware. It is being replaced by Vulkan though.

I'd expect Guzuko, Piruluk and Layla to get more results once their decks are figured out.

Although I don't think Piruluk will stop being the worst key format deck.

I'll probably post more stats after I gather the results of 100 tournaments.

I would but I have no new decks so it wouldn't be any fun and am trying to figure a new one out right now. Spent a good couple hours putting every SIGNI with a more interesting effect than +/- power or banish into a couple decks to have an easy place to see them.

>Also here's the current key format tournament results;

If that keeps up they're going to have to seriously rething some midoriko cards. An above 60% winrate is insane.

The problem is probably just that she's straightforward and therefore requires a lot less skill / planning to be effective. Hopefully that drops of after a while.

There's also not really anything wrong with one LRIG or even deck archetype dominating the meta as long as the player with the greater skill wins the vast majority of the time but it does defeat the point and just feels wrong.

Right I'll Milulun loop you later then.

I have to wonder if Layla or Guzuko will end up being top deck, I doubt it'll be Piruluk or Mido.

Piruluk doesn't have enough power plays and i'm pretty sure Mido won't change as a deck so it'll probably fall to those two.

That's what I thought… They really should add another icon for no color / any color because it seems to confuse a lot of people and the icon has different meanings when it's used as the "color" of a card and when it's used as cost.

This also means that if the cost is colorless as written you can pay it with anything but if it's colorless due to effect you can't pay it at all.

Well I hope Piruluk does well at least just because I like her. Mido might very well if it really is just because she's simple to play / figure out and therefore esentially got a head start. I somehow doubt this though since people will be spending days on end figuring the decks out if Midori was just easy to play, unless the power to skill disparity is really high, she wouldn't be that high. It's not like all previous strategies went out the window just because they introduced the new format.

Can you post some tournament winning Midoriko just to see what the decks are like?

Also not entirely sure how well these things work with cardsleeves on.

Overhand + hindu is probably the simplest and good enough for tcg.
