Yo, I would if the Mai franchise in general was a little more subtle about having their only explicitly lesbian characters also be (murderous) perverts, but they're not. Otome is probably my favourite anime, but I can enjoy something and still see the flaws in it.
Valkyrie Drive has everything from innocent sporty gays to elder stateswomen of lesbianism Lady Lady and a bunch of stuff in between. And it still has the 'loved ones being relevant to your powers' thing. The franchise could go in worse directions.

This game has online of all things. Been playing it for several hours now. Manual includes how to do all the special attacks and for an old game that hasn't been updated since 2008 it runs pretty well.
I like how all the HiME have different styles and all have a Child who works kinda like puppet in other fighting games. The Childs are all pretty different - Natsuki's has a lot of commands - Nao's you can actually control as a second fighter for brief periods etc.
