I liked Embajadores en el Infierno (Ambassadors in Hell) about how a Spanish Blau Division Captain captured with his men by the communists refused to surrender his uniform and rank and boosted the morale of his men.
In a way it was similar to "The Bridge on the River Kwai" in that the protagonist refuses to bow to the enemy and asserts his rights and those of his men, but the guy wasn't insane in this one and it isn't an anti-war movie.
K-19: The Widowmaker, starring Harrison Ford was pretty great too, even if he sends his men to a sure death in the reactor. I won't comment more to not spoil the movie.
Rough Air: Danger on Flight 534 was direct to TV but you can't miss it. It's the fourth picture, starring Eric Roberts.
Final picture is Money Monster, but not even Julia can bring me to watch George Clooney again. I liked the Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve movies, but I've developed a strong dislike of the guy. The scene with not-Julia-Roberts posing as Julia Roberts with Bruce Willis is a prime example of self-referential comedy done right.
