Looking at the macfag modding iphones to make them less shit (eg: audio jack) is it possible to add an extra battery? I remember some guys changing the battery on the nexus 5 for a bigger one from another LG phone that was compatible, though it took tons of work and they had to replace some circuitry.

So I was thinking about instead getting an extra OEM battery and connect it to the original, getting 2 batteries on the phone. Any EE fags here? would this work or it would short-circuit and destroy my phone?

You literally need 2 wires and a 3d printing service

Can't find anyone who done this, also why 3d print? for the new back plate?

just get a phone that has a replaceable battery. lg makes a bunch of different phones so they probably make them moduler to lower cost so a bunch of their phones share similar parts changing them slightly for what each phone requires. if i had to guess iphones are less moduler. so you cant just take an iphone 4 battery and slam it into an iphone 5 without a bunch of changes. batteries can have different voltages and so many other quirks.
