Has any one else realized that it's more fun to tinker with technology than it is to use it? Picking up old hardware, repairing it and then installing homebrew shit. Digging up really old systems and seeing how far you can push them?

It seems like I spend more time setting things up than I do using them.

Whats your current pet project and what do you plan to use it for? What sort of work have you put into it and what do you expect to get out of it?

In OOP you could work with the shittiest library ever written perfectly fine if everything's encapsulated properly. Even though I'm not a macOS/Binbows pleb, they both have a plethora of issues, the argument that complexity = bad is insane. Windows works perfectly fine if you just want something to work out of the box, it won't work well, and there are similar possibilities provided by systemd distros, but it'll work.
