Linux is a kernel you retard. Android is Linux. What you are thinking of as "Linux", is in fact the Linux kernel, and the GNU user space. Or as I like to call it GNU+Linux.

Android uses LittleKernel at the firmware-level. So no, its not really Linux, its more like Android/Linux/LK. Google basically turned Linux into a hybrid kernel

No, if you are calling GNU an OS, you must be using GNU Hurd as your kernel. If you are using Linux, the kernel, as your kernel, you must call your operating GNU / Linux or GNU + Linux. A better analogy would be saying ``Wrong it's just Gentoo. Linux is just a component of Gentoo and not separate''

GNU is a modular operating system that can use many kernels. Even HURD can implement different kernels.

Besides Linux, GNU runs on top of Linux-Libre (which is an FSF project), kFreeBSD, NT and the Solaris kernel.

Linux needs GCC to compile and owes it's popularity to GNU. The FSF was busy making HURD, but without it the original plan was to use kFreeBSD until Linux came around; would you retards say "it's not GNU, it's kFreeBSD" had they chosen that kernel instead of Linux?
