When you compare the installation process of something Like Ubuntu and Windows 10, you would have to be a masochist to prefer Windows 10. Yet people keep using Windows 10 because that's what came installed on their off-the-shelf PC.

There are PC that come with Linux pre-installed and they usually are cheaper because the OEM doesn't have to pay for licenses
