Wow, it seems finally the FOSS world will have a game development suite, it seems is the final year of games in linux.
I mean, a single argentinian autists literally BTFO a multibillion company with hundreds of employees.

I'm not qualified to have a confident opinion but this makes it sound like they're just doing it wrong in Unity, by using a feature that can perform the task but isn't designed to.

If proprietary software is better than free software at doing something then I want to know that. I'm not going to deceive myself for the sake of tribal signaling.
I almost exclusively use free software. I don't pretend it's better in every way. I'd have to do that if I didn't have a good reason for using it.

Hello BSD cuck. You are trying to conflate proprietary with a lot of development effort put into a piece of software. this is obviously bullshit, most proprietary software are cheap hackjobs that consist mostly of free software. The most expensive softwares like the kernel, compilers, and browsers are free and eclipsed proprietary products like opera. windows, ms compiler etc.

This. Proprietary software should be rejected on the grounds of it being proprietary, if someone chooses the free option because they find it technically superior it says nothing about whether they value freedom.

True, but most good software is proprietary. The opensource code that happens to be good is developed by the same corporations that make all the proprietary code.

Oh no I don't underestimate it I know that it's used a fuck tons, I know that servers even tho gnu/linux dominates them have blobs and other shit software installed on them, 99.9% of all routers and hardware is like that, I know that in normie world it's only that, I know that cars are like that, I even fucking know that modern ICBMs have some.
I know that we live in a world where people use what they are told to use what they are told to learn with and people who tell/teach these people are incompetent in computer science and should be shot at sight because they created this apocalyptic bubble that is just asking to expand and eventually explode.

Biggest advantage that proprietary software has over free software is marketing.
Too many FLOSS devs have unrealistic expectation that people would use some software just because it is superior in technical sense. Meanwhile proprietary software people invest into tutorials and shit that teaches people how to use their software.
By the time that people find out about FLOSS they are already used to proprietary counterpart and find FLOSS unintuitive unless FLOSS copies proprietary software design. If FLOSS creates copy of proprietary software design then there is no need to switch to it because you do not gain anything by switching.
tl;dr: FLOSS people need better marketing.

Getting alot of feedback and getting everyone finding bugs and correct it for you. Because of contact, I can confirm you that the code of godot is much more cleaner than unity 3D. Like most of the people pointed out, it had alot of contributors. around 600~ on git. As much as I can recall, Juan made 1/10th of the commits. I've seen people modifying the source code of godot in order to optimize their game in my city. These are the kind of thing that cucks out unity from the market.

Really Linux does not have anyone in charge. Any user could just fork the kernel tomorrow. Linus has nothing to do with it! There is no Linux control structure.
