>How safe is the average normalfag from basic tech attacks?
On a scale to 0 to 10 I'll say 0
> The main advantage of botnet tech is that it has the motivation to try and make even clueless idiots as safe as possible, but how effective is it?
None, it's all vaporware
> but would any other attacks really work?
A simple MITM is sufficient, and for other devices like routers you just need to find the good backdoor (and there's lots of them).
Why ?
Because 99.9% of users have installed a Trojan horse or adware that which communicates somewhere in a non encrypted channel.
Even a brand new laptop with a shinning win 7,8,10 would have some shit like that because nowadays retailers like hp, acer and others add datamining software (disguised as driver or power management tools) to the OS and a lot of them are either made by pajeets or are backdoored.
The actual situation of tech is Apocalyptic but not deadly exploited, the only threats are minor since the only ones dumb enough to try to scam people are sandniggers and they just want money not something else.
