So they say that proxies are used only by bad people and this idea gets quite popular it seems. If that shit gets free as in free beer and too easy to install for average webmaster, what do we do? Is this the end of the free web and onion services & sites that explicitly say they allow anonymity are the only places to live?

 No.891301>>891305

>Is this the end

Ask yourself how many websites really give a fuck if you're using a proxy or not. Also if you're using normie websites like google and twitter, then you probably don't care enough about privacy to begin with.

Most of them don't.

Some of them will more aggressively ask for captcha.

A few of them I dropped, because they were not okay with VPN.

But if this cancer does "solve" the "problem" so easily, what if many of them will jump on the anti-VPN bandwagon?

>Also if you're using normie websites like google and twitter

I limit the amount of leakage by using uBO and uMatrix. And I don't mind NSA as I don't live in USA anyway, and I don't do anything that would interest them enough to take a visit to me across the globe. I just don't want russkies ISPs to see too much of my traffic (because fuck them, and also because RosKomNadzor), that's the main goal.

(btw is NSA cucked by russkies already, or not yet? this could be bad news for me)

I noticed that a huge lot of "content delivery networks" and """cloud""" shit (including cuckflare, amongst many other things like azure, aws and others) seems to sit in the 104.0.0.0/8 IP range. Maybe making DNS servers across the world not resolve that IP range wouln't be a bad idea for starters.

any website that does this i'm just not going to use. a website that does this is also highly likely to have ads polluting every page, tracking, the whole 9 yards.

>Protect your site from crawlers that steal your content

be funny when it eventually blocks googlebot and bingbot and yandex bot and gets their site de-listed.

That's its weak point. Simply overwhelm the service with requests until it runs out of web API resources and then their "fraud protection" should stop working.

 No.896640

i don't see how sites would want this anyway. most sites want as many views as possible it doesn't matter where they come from, MSM would buy page loads from china if they could do it without getting caught.

it's advertisers that want this. if all the ad cdn's want to preemptively block tor exit nodes and vpn ip's instead of having a user's browser block the cdns, it might not be a bad thing.

They will be whitelisted by IP.
