Anyone got anymore ideas for preventing fingerprinting? I just got it using the Tor user agent to make it harder to identify but there must be other things I'm missing too.

Also I just implemented an OLED theme, and wanna look into some of the bugs later, mostly the broken back button for settings and only the first thread showing up sometimes. My Java also sucks ass so I'd appreciate someone reviewing my commits for anything I might've missed.

Did the original dev die or something?

Ourobouros is dead, but Clover has good 8chan support.

Implement it for Clover and you'll cover more than just 8chan.

I thought Clover only worked with cuckchan? Besides I couldn't implement these changes for a general chan app cus pretty much only 8chan and endchan have onions, I also don't want to help people access a site with recaptcha.

If he wanted to support other chans he would have used dashchan since it covers way more then fullchan and cuckchan.

Dashchan would be good too. I immediately thought of Clover because I confused Ourobouros with Exodus, another dead 8chan app which is a Clover fork.

I find Clover a bit nicer than Dashchan.

I used Clover before 8chan caught on (i.e. when /tech/ was created). I later used Exodus, Ouroboros, Overchan and Dashchan. I wasn't really browsing Endchan much by the time Clover gained 8chan support, and I think Clover is nicer than Dashchan in a number of ways, so I switched.

A killer feature for me is having thread watching and updating integrated so that it can watch threads in the background and later show new posts even if there's no longer a network connection. Dashchan's thread watcher is only based on the number of replies, which is annoying in all kinds of ways.

I started with Ouroboros then used the Overchan fork for a while when the whole image system was switched and now I'm back to using Ouroboros since I found out the images issue got fixed, plus I really needed Tor integration and Ouroboros is a nice, relatively simple base for that.

the only reason i dont use ouroboros is because it doesnt let me save images to an sd card, same with clover

while we are here, is there anyway to force it to save to the sd card?

that's only the internal storage, not external SD. it wont let me go up a directory to see my SD card, anyways
