Okay, so companies train their 'internet tech specialists' to install internet shaping software on the standard hardware configurations for families and business to limit bandwidth allocation to each MAC address.
That's fine, but there should be a hack for this.
I'm not saying steal everyone's wifi (which is what the jews are already doing)
What I'm suggesting here is to let system administors to have access to the tools they need to monitor the actual throughput, per router.
tools like getif and snmp allow you to do exactly that. it's seems appropriate if you are a responsible user to be able to allocate the right amount of bandwidth to power users, especially assuming that the average user needs less than 1 MiB. Think about how many people out of 1000 are going to be jumping on a totally open access point and download 100gbs of data in 5 minutes
how can we bridge the entire internet of a community to get together and just use one access point? Can someone point me in the right direction
