Alright /tech/, due to being unemployed for so long (a bit more than 10 months now), I doubt I'll be able to find another wageslave job.
I have two questions.
1a. What are areas where I can find a remote job?
I have direct, on the job experience with
>Unix/Linux
>VMware
>Cisco and Juniper networking devices
>NetApp
>Cisco, Juniper, pfsense, and other firewalls
>Winshit
Are there remote jobs I can do? How does one find them?
1b. If there aren't any, what skills do I need to learn to find a remote job? What is most in demand for someone to get one? Ruby? Full stack dev? Data science? What do I need to do?
2. Similarly, what are the areas of tech that are the easiest to get work in as a sole entrepreneur?
Webdev? Security?
tl;dr, I'm half locked out, half sick and fucking tired of wageslave jobs. What do I need to do to find other income streams involving tech?
