I highly doubt it will have the archives from 8archive added, that archive was completely separate and run by other people. It was a third party archive. I'm not sure why people can't seem to understand this, third party archives are not a new concept.

Maybe not 8chan staff, but I thought its admin, Drybones, also ran the main wiki and dossier for Gamergate, closely involved in the two older versions of the GG board. Pretty closely involved with 8chan, either way. After that, I think ownership (as it died, and Drybones retired from involvement in this scene) landed directly in the lap of one of the 8chan staff, though.

how fucking hard is it to run a static chan archive? use whatever software the other 50 4chan archives use and fucking host the old content already. Give us the top 100 boards at least.
