OK how can I tell for sure if my CPU has Inter ME (Mossad Express)?

There's like a test you can download and run for Lunix but I think it only checks AMT? I run a first gen i3 from 2010 and most online sources say they started implanting it in 2010 but some say 06 and some like 2014 so which is it???

Are there any lists with which CPUs are infected?????

fucking look it up yourself, faggot

IME is in all chips since 2006.

With the Core2Duo Series, though, you can it remove and still having a functioning CPU.

Now, you can either go back or lurk for two more years.

Go to ark.intel.com and look up your model

Yes your CPU has Intel ME.

The last "recent" CPU that does not have a system like that is the AMD FX-8370e, produced in 2014 September. Which is an eight core CPU, when overclocked has about the same speed as a Ryzen 5 1500/1600 for multi threaded applications. Single thread is about 40% slower.

This is only if you overclock it to about 5 Ghz which means it will burn about 180 Watt. But you won't have ME or equivalent, if you want to go further you could buy a 2012/2013 Gigabyte board with a legacy BIOS to also skip UEFI.

You need to buy a closed loop water cooler at least if you want to overclock to that speed.

1. Why is Intel ME so important?

2. Are they spying on everyone in the world?

3. What will they do with such knowledge?

4. Why would intel ME be worse than the next big fucking spying thing they will come out with that will evidently be much worse and eventually they drop spying via this which seems utterly useless with our current technological state tbh

1. IME allows (((Intel or friends))) to have more control of your computer than you do yourself

2. Who knows?

Intel ME is Intels replacement for the North Bridge and the South Bridge which basically controlled I/O between the CPU, Memory, and peripheral devices

Autists are freaking out over it because the Intel ME can be directly interfaced with and reprogrammed at will essentially, in addition, it runs as basically a hypervisor based in Minix that subverts Ring 0 on the CPU. Considering all memory I/O to and from the processor must go through ME, it does pose a striking security risk that Intel is very hush about

Guise I just contacted PogoLinux as mentioned in >>831651

I'll let you guise know if they reply and what they say. 96-core Open-Source firmware ARM rackmounts could be in our future!
