Looking for good TTS voices.

i.e acapella group, cepstral, more updated TTS voices.

To clarify, not looking for pic related. But the fully downloadable voices to put on your PC.

I have searched up and down, but the most recent pastebin was like 2013...so you know.

>"Three of a Kind" is the twentieth episode of the sixth season of the science fiction television series The X-Files. The Gunmen cleverly trick Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) into coming to Las Vegas using a text to speech program.

This was a cool episode. Is there any tts software that isnt horribly obvious. Seems like a sound board is your best bet.

Not OP, but I could really use a cracked Acapela engine addon for NVDA to use HQ acapela voices.

I use a thing called read4me.

Looking for a better one. But the key feature needs to let you hotswap TTS voices.

For example one book I read had POV chapters where the character was a certain age or personality (southern) and for the whole chapter I could just have an old/young voice or southern accent voice read that chapter. Stuff like that.

The main thing I am needing are the voices themselves, but its really difficult since each voice has its own license.

Since Mavericks, the Mac has many high quality free TTS voices in all languages. Check them out at the Accessibility menu and the "say" command. You can even record to a file, set the words per minute rate, etc.
