Since their has been quite a controversy around this site. Is it possible that the government has gotten involved and Gab social is now secretly giving away all our information to the government? And this some front-ploy. If not, is the site even worth using anyway? I don't like signing up for shit

I wouldn't consider it significantly worse than Discord, Slack, Facebook, Mastodon, *8chan* or any other communication service with centralized servers that you don't directly pay for.

The good news is that you can get yourself some preferred stock in Gab, if you've got $1000 on hand that you don't mind completely throwing away.
