Start with no less than 64gb of RAM. Memory management is a meme nowadays, it's 2019. Literally no one cares about memory anymore, so just program as though your machine has infinite amounts of it. Since web is the future, I also recommend only using Electron for your user interface, it's super hackable and comes with a super diverse community of really awesome people. Personally recommend the Apple macbook so that you can hack on the iPhone and make really empowering apps.
