I decided to try some other browsers today and one of them was palemoon.

It looks like a fucking 2003 Internet Explorer. All of the themes too.

Is there a way to make it look at least okay, apart from removing the hideous menu bar?

Go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions

Download pic related.

Tools > Add-ons > Themes

Download: Dark Moon 2.3.1, apply, restart.

Customize by right clicking the tab bar and removing for exp, Menu bar, status bar, bookmarks bar.

You can also find search engines for it and remove all the other associated engines, you can also tell it to delete all browse history or never keep history.

Go to Tools > Preferences > Privacy

to edit.
