Why do you uberniggers think open source is more "secure" when talented paid CIAniggers can combine all their talents to invent multiple backdoors in a couple of days/hrs from just reading the source code? I'm really sorry but are you people fucking retarded or what? Why have you not considered this? And yeah and good luck fixing or ever finding that vuln on github with voluntary contribs(lol).

Yes the program may not have been audited but previous matter of fact still applies. And I'm not against OS or FSF. I'm just a thinking man in a brainlet world.

install gentoo

too much kek

the other alternative is using proprietary software that can have backdoors on purpose and no-one will have any idea.

>It's a dumb idea to have everything in plain sight, where to deliberately plant a backdoor requires ingenious obfuscation techniques and is always liable discovery. Why would you prefer this over closed-source software, which has no oversight whatsoever, and enables bad actors to do their nefarious shit with impunity?

youre obviously new, and think code is magic

The point is to raise the difficulty. Any skiddie can install a rootkit but it takes skill to pull off a rowhammer exploit. Eventually we will treat processing the same way we treat data, use a raid controller to process everything in duplicate on different hardware to check for errors.

> In the cryptography world, we consider open source necessary for good security; we have for decades. Public security is always more secure than proprietary security. It's true for cryptographic algorithms, security protocols, and security source code. For us, open source isn't just a business model; it's smart engineering practice.
