I'm an old hat at PC repair. A little too old, I don't have much experience with new Linux systems or with Windows 7 and 10.

depends on what you want, if you want HW experience, there is nothing to do except disassemble shit tons of laptops.

If you want to understand W7, W10, Linux, then read about them. MS has certifications, RHEL has linux certifications.
