There are other and better ways to achieve this, which mostly boil down to killing third-party connections (uMatrix) and cookies as much as possible. I find them better because they also have other nice benefits. However, compartmentalization helps a lot on a psychological level. When I get distracted too often during work I just open up a second X server where I do work shit and end up much more effective.

I'd go one step further with that first infographic, because we seem to be mixing up privacy meme stuff with things that can be tied to us (Amazon in the same box with Tor stuff). Perhaps one axis would be "privacy meme level" and the other "privacy threat level".

the proper way to do it is to isolate all network traffic and identities and virtual machines.

ie

identity 1, network 1, virtual machine 1

identity 2, network 2, virtual machine 2

etc

virtual machines should be configured in such a way that they cannot see traffic with other virtual machines / networks, usually this involves multiple virtual machines per identity

ie

identity 1 -> vm workstation 1 -> vm gateway 1 -> network 1

identity 2 -> vm workstation 2 -> vm gateway 2 -> network 2

obviously you should never mix identities or workstations or gateways or networks, and the moment you do everything is blown on all of them

Like several years ago.

Use up to date FF+libre overlay for checking mail and botnet accounts. Botnet goes in the botnet and rarely use it.

Palemoon for shitposting and main bookmarks database.

Planning on downgrading to "Tycho" and avoid the soroscode at some point.

Also that Mozilla Location Service is gonna be your worst nightmare so avoid if possible.

Chromium for sites that break on palemoon.

For the most part you can get a generic smartphone, Afwall it and use icecat or other chromium forks from f-droid. You'll have less fingerprint by using a popular phone and you can even fucking compile your own kernel though there will be blobs on some, just disable those beacon hardware and use usb-ethernet.

Xprivacy and other apps can spoof your device IDs if you can't avoid using botnet. I recommend android 4.0-6.0 only though there's already plenty of 'botnet service' FOSS client apps on f-droid this is to avoid their harmful soroscode that absorb all of your 10 UUIDs (official apps has permissions to read bt/wifi/mac address and imei and they somehow managed to make it look like it asks for no special permissions on NEWER android versions but if you install the same app on older devices all the permissions show up, what's worse is they can even put zero day exploits and no one will know cuz it's binery).
