Probably one of Ericcson's handheld UHF radios for firemen. It was like the case was spring loaded - little parts flying everywhere. I always recommend GE since they were easy to fix.

Nexus 6 to replace the battery. Glued back, then 22 screws, then a bunch of ribbons to disconnect, then glued charging coil... what a pain. Does anyone still make phones with easily replaceable batteries?

Military equipment designed post 2000 sucks in general, which is justification to overpay contractors to do it. SINCGARS radios otoh were alright, just a rack of circuit cards and flex assemblies.

I needed to replace the thermal paste on an old GAYMIN laptop I had. I couldn't figure out how to open it and eventually got frustrated. Pic related is the result it runs a lot cooler now
