found this channel recently, and their thoughts on disney wars pretty much line up exactly with mine.

Pretty neat Youtube Channel you got there OP but it does have a Merch store, you e-celeb anon.

>merch store

hm, must be for their other channel as well. better than a monthly subscription i suppose, and they didn't mention the store in the video, so i'll give it a pass this time.

 No.6835

YT posters are just anons that would otherwise get their opinions shit all over if they posted on an imageboard, but since they took the time to make a video they must be serious relatable critics that can profit from their shit perspectives

You're free to have any opinion you like. You're also free to have it mocked.

>Rogue One was an amazing & good movie

>TLJ should have been more of a rehash of the old movies, just like TFA.

Trash. Better put better reviewers, OP.

This better be irony

 No.6957

it's not. for all its faults i still enjoyed rogue one. tfa and tlj are irredeemable piles of shit, and after watching tlj i honestly felt better about tfa, but i still don't consider anything under disney to be canon.

 No.6975

>>6957

Fair enough. Though Rogue One would've been far better if it had nothing to do with the Death Star plans and simply been the chronicle of a group of rebels who did their part for the cause, but since they needed the shitty OT tie-in and muh nostalgia bux, it was spoiled.

 No.6990

>>6975

I was hoping Rogue One would've been a straight up war movie.

 No.7059

>>6990

weren't we all? that was what we were promised before disney decided to change the tone of it and order reshoots. funny enough, i think that probably hurt its box office intake to an extent, surely some people were pissed at the change and decided to skip it.

i'm really still wondering though what dumbass motherfucker thought the suicide charge against the at-at was a good idea. literally two shots (max) from the cannon would be enough to take them all out no questions asked, none of that run and dodge bullshit like we saw in the trailers.

Rogue One was the only one of the Nu-Star-Wars films that felt like it tried to be the slightest bit creative. K-2SO felt like a try at a HK-47 type of droid character and the battle over Scarif or whatever the fuck that beach planet was called with the shield generator was pretty neat.

Of course, the nostalgia shit kind of killed it but points to Gareth Evans for at least trying a bit.

>Rogue One was the only one of the Nu-Star-Wars films that felt like it tried to be the slightest bit creative.

Not saying it did. It definitely did try and it could've worked as its own thing, but then they just threw in the irksome references and had to make it an ANH prequel instead of making its own thing that could've served as its own series of films documenting rebel and imperial soldier stories, and maybe even adapt old EU stuff properly.
