Is this supposed to be a credo for some offshoot of gray jedi, or do you think this is some kind of real life lesson stuff? Do you want people to pick it apart, or write their own list of aphorisms in response? If this is the basis for a fanfic it’s missing components that would make meaningful, like a character or characters who espouse it and what exactly this credo leads them to do.

I would like people to tell me if they honestly just hate it, or love it, or are fine with it, and I want to know why they feel that way, and I want them to be inspired to create their own "code" and angar-tooshay me and say "aha! mine is even better, look at this extremely healthy and friendly rivalry we have here! now you are inspired to make an even better code than mine! lets do this! what an excellent and entertaining intellectual exercise!" and then /sw/- the board actually feels full of real energy, and not like a flat tire.

Is it though? It's similar to a deity in a lot of ways, but not, I don't think, God with a capital G. The Force is very passive, for one. There's no creation myth surrounding it, and no miracles in the traditional sense either. Sure, Force-users can do great things, and some would say that's the Force acting through them, but Force-users are still for the most part masters of their own destiny. Even when the Force does become a little more active in how it operates, such as when it birthed Anakin Skywalker in self-defense, the extent of the Force "acting" is creating an agent that acts on its behalf. And while the parallels between Anakin and Jesus aren't exactly subtle, he's still different in a lot of ways. Jesus was not just the son of God but his living embodiment on Earth. He knew who and what he was, he knew what he was supposed to do, and he didn't stray from that path. He rather explicitly called for followers, and performed miracles of his own to fulfill God's wishes.

Anakin, by contrast, is just a guy with an unusually strong connection to the Force. He doesn't know he's the Chosen One until informed by the Council. Rather than submit to the greater will of the Force or actively campaign as its agent, he still does things according to his own wishes and desires, even when doing so involves going directly against what some would see as the Force's will. He's more in tune with the Force than others, but he certainly can't perform miracles. Finally, Anakin falls. He succumbs to temptation and embraces the dark side of the Force. Redeemed by his son eventually, but he still falls.

Unlike God, the force is not an active entity; you could argue it's not even a fully sentient one. There's no grand plan, no explicit purpose, just a small number of individuals with enough power to lightly thumb the scales every so often.

Mate calm the fuck down. I said your code was good and so did others but mostly for real life. But all we asked was an in-universe counterpart that can be used. Like for example, you hardly mention sith or jedis in your code which both should be outright rejected, and in the SW universe God is called the Maker by multiple species and societies and is considered separate from the Force. The Force is not the Maker. It is like the collective spirit of all living things that bonds everything. Again, its a good code. All that was asked is that you make two versions of the code. One for real life use and one for in-universe SW story usage.
