I knew they'd start ransoming the EU for a quick profit. Now that they're using Thrawn to try and improve ratings for Rebels, don't be surprised if they use Kyle to sell some direct-to-DVD special and then kill him off in the first ten minutes.
The worst part is it'll work. Just looking at those guns makes me want to play with them even though I know the gameplay sucks ass. I want to feel what it's like to fire them for the first time again, and I want to know if the Bryar has the same blaster sound it's had since 1994.
Nostalgia is a powerful marketing tool, and while Disney's already milked the original trilogy nostalgia dry they have barely even begun on the EU. This is only the beginning.
