In what? A contest in being denied again and again?

Maybe that could be the contest, Worf trying to LARP as a Klingon while Spock tries to LARP as a Vulcan?

Didn't he beat Gowron in ds9?

d309bd No.5240

>>5239

That doesn't count, they made him a bitch in DS9

6a42d3 No.5242

if you ignore worf taking the brunt of the writer's frustrations throughout TNG and DS9 it's conceivable.

You mean the guy he helped achieve the throne? You mean the guy he betrayed in order to help his adopted daddy achieve the throne? THAT Gowron?

I'm not sure about that. Worf always seems kind of lame, while Spock's kind of a ninja.

Gowron broke Worf's Bat'leth and as he moved in to finish the traitor off, Worf lunged forward with a shard of metal and stabbed him in the stomach.

Seems like a logistical nightmare to define precise metrics for such disparate cultures. Probably better to have them both LARP as hu-mon.

it's like they wanted to arouse suspicion amongst the klingons. Why is Worf so perpetually incompetent?

My favorite part about that episode? After the timeline has been put back to normal, Vaginan asks Geordi to tell her about Tasha Yar, and Geordi's still wearing the other timeline's black-cuff uniform.

I never understood why they dim the lights for red-alert. I know the writers chose to do it for aesthetics, but in a real situation it seems like turning off the lights in a crisis is a bad idea. Just imagine all the fresh recruits, stumbling around in the dark in a panic, desperately trying to make it to their stations before the ship explodes.

I usually have an eye for detail, but I never noticed that before. Good eye, anon.

Did they on Yesterday's Enterprise, because i'm pretty sure on TNG they normally didn't? They do however dim the lighting on the bridge at "night" as seen in S04E11 Data's Day, it's just that apparently nothing ever happens during 3rd shift in the TNG universe so we don't normally see it. it's not nearly as dark as the battle bridge or the bridge on Yesterday's Enterprise. Overall I think the lighting was unrealistically bright on the bridge (pic related). And I think they should have made the dome at the top change color to reflect the time of day.

Worf is also primed for battle at all times, its in his blood, while Spock would rather solve situations without violence, which makes him weak
