As for Pulaski, half of the problem with her character is that they played the "female McCoy" completely straight-forwardly, probably because they were proto-sjw and legit believed it shouldn't matter. In retrospect, they should have insisted she not have old lady cotton candy hair and given her some kind of mild sexual charm. They also should have made her not a Starfleet Officer. Instead, one of those contractors like that pedo looking engineer dude that fag Traveler was with before he made Wesley his bitch. She should have been removed from the "no conflict" Starfleet and used as an external voice.
We all know who the go-to Starfleet medic role would be filled by in Season 2. As for who gets to be Alexander's mom… who cares, really.
